High-Level Status
- Medical: Allowed under national law and regulation. Patients and caregivers access through the REPROCANN registry managed by the Ministry of Health. Options can include formulaciones magistrales and authorized controlled cultivation for personal medical use.
- Recreational/non-medical: Prohibited under national narcotics laws. Enforcement and jurisprudence on private possession exist, but non-medical supply/trafficking remains illegal. Do not rely on hearsay—verify locally.
- Industrial hemp: Licensing administered by the national government (ARICCAME/Ministerio de Economía) with procedures for hemp fiber/grain and related activities.

- Registration requires medical endorsement and yields a certificate authorizing the permitted medical cultivation/possession pathway described by the program.
