- Status: Adult-use (R) and medical (M) are legal in Alaska under state law.
- Regulator: Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office (AMCO) and the Marijuana Control Board (MCB) regulate licensing and enforcement.
- Personal possession: Adults 21+ may possess up to 1 ounce in public. Possession of the harvest from personally grown plants on the premises is allowed. Public consumption is banned unless authorized onsite.
- Home-grow: Up to 6 plants (max 3 mature/flowering); up to 12 plants per dwelling (max 6 mature) where two or more adults reside, with security and not-in-public-view requirements.
- Public consumption: Prohibited, except in specifically endorsed onsite consumption areas.
